PackageKit documentation

Today I'll start documenting some of the code of the packagekit project. Its a boring job, but somebody has to do it and thats me, as I'm the newbie ^^

So ill start commenting on the code, probably generating a gtk-doc file to use with dev-help or something like that (I'm really sorry for the lack of technical vocabulary but im not sure to understand how gtk-doc nor devhelp works, and that is one of my primary purposes).

Richard Hughes already told me how to start, so I'll be downloading via 'git' the source code and try to understand the functions within it.

Good luck to me on my first contribution to an open source project!!!!

EDIT:

I've already downloaded source code of packagekit, and i realized how bas was I at programming with C.
So i think Ill try to remmember some things first to get used to C again.

Hello World!

I know how geeky it is to name my first post 'Hello World!', but i couldn't find a better way to name it.
So this is my first post for the blogosphere and i hope this is the start of what i may call a "really exciting, rich and personal way of wasting my time while i have nothing better to do".

Ok, i know i'll be posting a lot of geeky stuff, and lots of technical post will be shown from time to time for that is one of my
hobbies, and it will become my lifestyle due to my current studies.

So lets start with the geekness and let me tell you about this project ill be working on ( well at least im willing to help... lets see what happen).
The name is PackageKit and is a really interesting project. It is suppose to be a standard way to manage packages on any linux distro with an easy to use GUI. For more information about this project go to the main site www.packagekit.org

For now, i'll be documenting some functions as im not that experienced int linux programming, but im pretty sure ill learn fast and in no time i'll be coding .
